Journey Of A Dress...DVF.

A fashion icon...Diane von Fürstenberg, formerly Princess Diane zu Furstenberg.  She is a Belgian born American fashion designer best known for her iconic wrap dress. This dress was a drip-dry, cotton jersey that wrapped in front and tied at the waste.

The Journey of a Dress exhibition was launched on January 11th in Los Angeles running through April.  Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the ionic wrap dress.  The exhibit is located at the historic Wilshire May Company building... former home of the May Co. department store where the wrap dress was sold in the 70’s.  DVF wrap dress was just seen in American Hustle worn by Amy Adams.
