Spicy Almonds

This is one of my favorite go-to-snacks for the week. I make it on Sunday nights and it normally lasts us through the week. They're also great for dinner parties with friends...... something perfect to throw on a platter with some olives and cheese.  Almonds are so good for your health and the spicy topping boots your metabolism.  Why not indulge!

-1/4 cup unsalted butter

-1 teaspoon cumin, Ground
-1/2 teaspoon sugar
-1 teaspoon garlic powder

2. Melt the butter in a medium-size saucepan.
3. Add worcestershire sauce, cumin, sugar, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.

5. Add the nuts and stir to coat evenly with seasonings.
6. Spread the almonds on an ungreased baking sheet and toast for 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
