Spicy Almonds


This is one of my favorite go-to-snacks for the week. I make it on Sunday nights and it normally lasts us through the week. They're also great for dinner parties with friends...... something perfect to throw on a platter with some olives and cheese.  Almonds are so good for your health and the spicy topping boots your metabolism.  Why not indulge!

Ingredients
-1/4 cup unsalted butter 
-2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce-
-1 teaspoon cumin, Ground
-1/2 teaspoon sugar
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
-3 cups natural almonds
-Sea salt, to taste
 Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt the butter in a medium-size saucepan.
3. Add worcestershire sauce, cumin, sugar, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
4. Cook over low heat for 2 - 3 minutes.
5. Add the nuts and stir to coat evenly with seasonings.
6. Spread the almonds on an ungreased baking sheet and toast for 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
7. Remove from the oven and toss with sea salt.
8. Cool.
